Phone Calls from Cairo

Nellie here again. Tom called his parents around 3:30 this morning, saying he is fine and back in his apartment in Cairo. He spent the night above the protests on the roof of a youth hostel near Tahrir Square. Phone service has still been in and out, but I just got a hold of him this morning and was able to talk for a couple minutes. He sounds great and is in his apartment  in Zamalek, safe from the continuing discontent and protests. He says to keep an eye out on CNN for a small article about Dr. Ayman Nour that he wrote following his interview with him.

Keep following the news, I’m sure Tommy will have a lot to write about when he regains access to the internet!
